Our work
Our work
We are building the UK’s first on-farm cultivated meat production facility — a new kind of site where meat can be made without the environmental cost of conventional livestock farming. Set on land transitioning from pasture to rewilded landscape, it represents a powerful shift: from extraction to regeneration, from depletion to restoration.
This pilot facility will drive early-stage research, product development and showcase experiences, inviting farmers, chefs and the public to see how cultivated meat can restore ecosystems while supporting rural livelihoods. It is designed to prove that farming can diversify, adapt and thrive in a future where food production and nature recovery go hand in hand.
As we grow, this site will become the first of many, helping to seed a network of cultivated meat hubs across the countryside — building a food system that works for people, land and climate alike.

a just transition
Farmers have always been the backbone of our food system, the custodians of our landscapes and the keepers of rural knowledge passed down through generations. They are too often overlooked in conversations about the future of food, yet it is their skill, resilience and relationship with the land that has fed us for centuries. As pressures mount from climate change, market forces and shifting policies, it is vital that any transition to a better food system not only includes farmers but places them at the very heart of it.

tangible impact
Switching grazing land to cultivated meat production offers one of the clearest opportunities to heal the land at scale. By freeing up vast tracts of pasture, we can create space for rewilding, restoring vital ecosystems and allowing nature to flourish once again. This is tangible, measurable change — cleaner rivers, richer soils, buzzing biodiversity — driven not by theory but by practical shifts in how we use and cherish the land.

a stronger future for farmers
Diversifying farm income is no longer just a bonus, it is a necessity. Cultivated meat combined with natural capital offers a powerful new revenue stream that sits alongside existing practices, helping to buffer farmers against volatile markets and extreme weather. It brings resilience to farm businesses, enabling families to stay on the land, invest in its stewardship and build vibrant rural communities rooted in opportunity and innovation.
